Hair BRA-Zaar is back!

Come be a part of this exciting event as our talented students and alumni
put together hair and makeup looks inspired by all things Hollywood! Their creation is also centered around a decorated bra to symbolize the focus on breast cancer awareness.

All funds raised from ticket sales, donations and silent auction will go to benefit HairToStay and the Sydney Berry fund.

Beloved by the beauty industry and a dear friend of Summit Salon Academy and anyone in her orbit, Sydney has been a cancer warrior for over 30 years and an industry leader for more than 50 years. She knows all too well the impact of losing her hair during her fight to survive, or as she says “thrive”. Sydney has been a passionate and invaluable contributor to HairToStay’s efforts.

In October 2022, HairToStay presented Sydney with the Cooler Heads Prevail Award for her scalp cooling advocacy, and invited members of our industry to join in sponsoring the award. The money raised for the award was used to create The Sydney Berry Fund within HairToStay. Sydney’s fund focuses on subsidizing younger women (40 and under), and/or individuals employed directly or as independent contractors in the haircare and beauty industries, who could not otherwise afford scalp cooling treatment.

Since its inception in 2022, the Sydney Berry Fund has awarded over 20 subsidies to recipients in need of financial support for scalp cooling! Your support of our fundraiser will help Sydney put an end to “chemo cuts”; as it helps many more Cooler Heads Prevail!
